I had wanted my belly button pierced since i was 12 years old. Yes, I know that is super young. My mom agreed and took me to a piercing parlor and they said that they couldn’t pierce me even with parental consent until i was 13 years old at least. I left devastated but i kinda forgot about wanting the piercing until i was 18 years old. I went with my boyfriend to a shop where i met a super friendly lady who filled out my paperwork talked with me about the aftercare and then sat us in the waiting room. Shortly after sitting in the room she called us over to a room where we met the piercer who was super friendly. He sanitized me, marked the spot, put the clamps on and then laid me down my boyfriend grabbed my hand and i kinda laid there not knowing what to expect. It was very quick the pain was that equivalent to the ear piercings i had had when i was maybe 7 years old. My boyfriend later told me he was scared and surprised that i did not cry or react because the needle was really big lol. I would recommend this piercing. The soreness afterwards is more painful than the piercing itself and as long as you clean it very well you do not even really notice the soreness.

I had mine done when I was 18 , loved it , removed it in 2008 because a few girls I went out with didn’t like it . Went and got it redone end of 2017 , sent a pic to my wife and she loves it ! TummyToys and belly ring shop is now my fav websites!

Once I turned sixteen I really wanted it done... I absolutely hate needles but getting the piercing was fine, didn’t hurt at all and didn’t hurt afterwards. I hopefully will get the bottom half of my navel done in the next few years. It has been healing very well and I’ve had no issues with it especially since I’ve ridden horses my whole life

from the age of 12 i wanted to get my bally pierced but didn’t want to tell my parents. It was 2002 when i got it done, and thought it looked great, it wasn’t long ago when my parents found out i had my belly button pierced. They were really disappointed with me and didn’t trust me. After that we had our fight and argued that i was to young and need to stop copping and being like my friends i started to become a different person my, parents were glad that i became a more mature adult and wanted me to go through university. from today i still have my memories and was glad that i changed.

From the age of 10 I wanted to get my belly pierced but thought I was too young. When I was 12 my mum said she would take me to get it but I wanted to lose weight first, after that I kept putting it off because I was scared of the pain. I’m almost 16 and I finally got it done a few weeks ago for a holiday to Queensland and I’m so happy with it!! It was over and I didnt realise she’d even put the needle through. It’s a great piercing you can’t not love it! If you want it just do it!! You won’t regret it :)

I wanted a belly piercing when I was 12 (I’m 14 now) and so I asked my friends for their opinions and they all said to me, ’don’t because you’re too young and you might get bullied’ and so I agreed with them and then in late 2016 one of my friends got their belly pierced and I got jealous so I had to beg my mum for a belly piercing but she kept saying no. Christmas came and I begged my mum in public because she couldn’t reject me and she finally said yes only because I would have to pay for it and stop begging for things. I was hyperventilating because I was so excited to get it done and it took at least 5 mins to get it done, I do not regret it!

My want for a piercing began shortly after my first tattoo, nineteen years ago. To be honest, at the time I was not aware that very few men pierce their navels. No matter. After all these years I still remember the rush of the needle penetrating me, and the accompanying feeling of invincibility. I have always wanted more piercings since that then, but for various reasons (none of them fear), I haven’t followed through. I love my piercing, and I intend to never allow it to close. I enjoy wearing surgical steel spikes, but I usually favor balls in gold or - more often - basic black. More guys should do it!

My want for a belly piercing started last year when I was 12 and one of my friends got one. I told my mum about it and agreed that I could get it done for my 13 birthday but when my birthday came around I lost my want for one or you could say I wimped out. 2015 came and I told myself I’m getting it done regardless. The first school holiday came (March holidays I think) and every time I asked to get it done, we already had a trolley or something that was awkward so I waited for the next holiday but only to be told ’you can wait for your birthday.’ My birthday finally came around and I got it done. I barely hurt at all and after I had it done I forgot I had it because I could feel it. It’s been a week and I love it! 😜

I was pretty young and on a family vacation. I always wanted to get my belly button pierced. It was around my birthday and even though my Mom was not on board my Dad took me.
The guy had so many tattoos and piercings. He was nice but scary looking and we had to go to a tattoo shop to get this done.
I didn’t realize until after getting it done that the way he did it was not how it usually gets done with instruments and a clamp. I laid down and didn’t really watch but it did not hurt. He did it free-style, and by hand. No tools but a needle and the belly button ring. I had it in for 5 years. It did not get changed until my best friend cut it off with wire clippers and the top hit her right on the chin haha. Love it still, it’s been 7 years and I had a baby 2 years ago. I did not leave any rings in when I had a belly. But the holes never closed up.

A friend and I were shopping and she pointed at a store and said that’s where I got my belly button pierced! Apparently she’d taken it out one night and it closed over straight away. Within 20 minutes of us having this conversation, we’d booked appointments and had our belly buttons pierced. This was mid August 2014. Hers closed over a few months later when it fell out at the gym. Mine will NEVER close over!!

“I got my navel pierced for my birthday last year and, as I am sure many of you know, these things heal relatively slowly, with fits and starts of irritation. I was using the original piercing jewelry (stainless steel barbell) but, of course, it would get caught on something every now and then and there would be another bout of irritation, Plus, stainless just isn't the same as gold or silver for me.
